TAPPA N° 18 FAI DELLA PAGANELLA - PIEVE DI SOLIGO 28.05.2026 167KM
The 18th stage of the Giro d'Italia 2026, scheduled for 28 May 2026, will see the peloton depart from Fai della Paganella (Trentino) with a route of approximately 166-167 km through the Valsugana and the Prosecco hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, before ending with the arrival in Pieve di Soligo in the province of Treviso.
This stage will feature a hilly and scenic route, including the iconic passage over the Muro di Ca' del Poggio, located less than ten kilometres from the finish line, a potential selection point before the final sprint or decisive attacks.

How the route unfolds:
1. First kilometres downhill
The stage starts from Fai della Paganella with a short, mainly downhill stretch towards Valsugana, immediately encouraging a fast pace for the group and the first possible breakaways.
2. Ups and downs towards Veneto
After the initial descent, the route continues through undulating terrain with a series of undulations that are not particularly difficult: it crosses hilly areas and roads that move towards the south-east, gradually entering the Veneto region.
3. The key point: the Muro di Ca' del Poggio
About 9-10 kilometres from the finish line is the famous Muro di Ca' del Poggio, a short climb with significant gradients that can break up the group and encourage attacks or select the strongest riders before the finish. It is the most significant topographical point of the stage.
4. Final kilometres towards Pieve di Soligo
After the Muro, the terrain becomes gentler again with slight ups and downs until the finish line in Pieve di Soligo, where a small group or a classic sprint for a few riders may arrive (depending on how the race develops).
